Training Options
Most dog training fails for one reason: it treats behavior while ignoring the dog’s internal state. At Canine Evolutions, we do not start by guessing, selling you a package, or forcing your dog through a technique. We start by meeting the dog in front of us, reading the nervous system, and building a path that fits your reality—your household, your schedule, your dog’s genetics, and the history you are carrying into this.
If you’ve trained somewhere else before and it “didn’t work,” you are not alone. Many clients come to me after they have already spent money and lost trust. I want to make the first step clear and finite—so you can begin without feeling trapped.
Start Here
Before we talk about Private Training , board & train, Memberhsips or long-term coaching, we start with one thing: an evaluation.
I do not sell training based on guesses, videos, or a description over text. I evaluate the dog’s nervous system, the handler dynamics, the environment, and the real behavioral picture in front of me. From there, I give you a clear path forward—what to do immediately, what to stop doing, and what training structure is actually appropriate for your dog.
New Client Evaluation (Required) — 75 Minutes(max) — $199
This 75-minute evaluation is the doorway into every program at Canine Evolutions: private training, behavior modification, board & train, and membership.
During your evaluation we will:
assess your dog’s behavior, stress patterns, triggers, and recovery
evaluate handling mechanics, clarity, and communication
identify what is driving the behavior beneath the surface
build an immediate management plan you can implement this week
map the most realistic training path forward (private coaching, behavior plan, board & train, or membership)
Credit policy: If you enroll in a training program after your evaluation, the full $199 evaluation fee is credited toward your program investment (when enrollment is completed within 7 days).
Behavior Evaluation — 75 minutes — $299
For aggression, reactivity, fear, anxiety, guarding, shutdown, separation issues, or bite history.
Behavior cases require more than “obedience coaching.” This evaluation includes risk assessment, management and safety guidance, and a structured behavior plan to stop rehearsal and begin real change. If you’re unsure which evaluation to pick, choose this one.
During your Behavior Evaluation we will:
assess your dog’s behavioral picture in real time — stress signals, triggers, intensity, and how quickly (or slowly) your dog can recover
evaluate the human side of the leash — handling mechanics, timing, spatial pressure, clarity, and communication
identify what is driving the behavior beneath the surface (fear, conflict, over-arousal, guarding patterns, learned rehearsal, environmental pressure)
create an immediate safety and management plan you can implement this week to reduce risk and stop rehearsal
map the most realistic path forward for your specific case — private behavior coaching, a structured behavior plan, board & train, or long-term membership support
Credit policy: If you enroll in a program after the evaluation, the evaluation fee is credited toward your program investment (when enrollment is completed within 7 days).
What Happens After the First Session
You will leave with clarity and direction.
You will understand what is driving the behavior beneath the surface, what to stop doing immediately, what to start doing this week, and what the next phase should be. From there, you can choose the pathway that matches your goals and your dog’s needs.
Pathway A: Private Training
Private lessons are the cleanest route when you want step-by-step coaching, structure, and accountability without sending your dog away.
If you want the full menu of private lessons and behavior modification bundles, go here:
Pathway B: Board & Train
Board & Train is for owners who need deeper daily consistency, faster momentum, or a reset that cannot be created in one session per week.
This is not a kennel full of rotating dogs. I only accept a small number of dogs at a time because real behavior change is not assembly-line work—and because your dog deserves more than a system.

Pathway C: Memberships & Long-Term Coaching
Memberships are for owners who want long-range accountability, repetition, and coaching over time—so the dog becomes consistent in real life, not just “good in a session.”
This is where training becomes a supported lifestyle: structure, coaching, and progression over months and years.
Membership tiers include:
Foundations Membership (group coaching foundation)
Progressive Membership (includes mild behavior modification coaching; 12-month max active track)
Intensive Behavior Membership (full behavior modification track; 12-month max)
Lifetime Mentorship — $15,000
Dogs with severe aggression or severe anxiety may require an additional Behavior Track Add-On (+$4,999).

Not Sure What You Need?
If you are overwhelmed, start with the Behavior Session ($299). It is the safest entry point when the picture is unclear.
